THE HEALTHY BAKER - FIBRE ENRICHED FLOUR

The Healthy Baker Flour with 50% More Fibre is a flour blend used for general baking such as cakes and scones. It looks and tastes just like our regular flour, producing the same great results with the benefit of extra fibre.

Dietary fibre is mainly needed to keep the digestive system healthy. It also contributes to other processes, such as stabilising glucose and cholesterol levels.

Most Australians do not consume enough fibre. On average, most Australians consume 20–25 g of fibre daily. The Heart Foundation recommends that adults should aim to consume approximately 25–30 g daily.

The fibre in our Healthy Baker Flour with 50% More Fibre is a resistant starch. Resistant starch is considered the third type of dietary fibre, as it can deliver some of the benefits of insoluble fibre and some of the benefits of soluble fibre.
